2.     The Racketeer by John Grisham. Author John Grisham once again proved his unfading touch and talent in the world of suspense and general fiction genre. The story summary tells of the murder of four federal judges with the addition of Judge Raymond Fawcett as the fifth and latest victim. It evolves on determining the culprit and the existence of “The Racketeer” who is allegedly responsible for the murders.

3.     Fifty Shades of Grey. This romance themed book was written by E.L. James and is considered a highly controversial book due to varying readers’ reviews. It is an erotic novel and a trilogy which centres on the intimate and deepening relationships between a young business magnate named Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. There are explicit sexual and erotic scenes featuring practices such as sadism/masochism, bondage/discipline and dominance and submission among others.

4.     Heroes of Olympus: The Mark of Athena. This book authored by Rick Riordan is a five-series novel. The youth-oriented book first debuted in October 4th 2012 and is set to be completed on 2014. It highlights the adventures of seven demigods namely Percy Jackson, Hazel, Frank, Jason, Piper and Leo. The 7th demigod is yet to be revealed.

It earns $447,911,148 in box office. The star-studded cast includes Christian Bale, Michael Cane, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Morgan Freeman and Tom Hardy. It continues the story of Batman after eight years of seclusion and the tragic turn for him from hero to fugitive. This time he battles Bane, a ruthless masked terrorist and deals with a mysterious cat burglar.

3.     The Hunger Games. Earning a total of $408,010,692 in total lifetime gross, the film was released in March 23rd, 2012. It was produced by Lionsgate and directed by Gary Ross. The movie cast includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Stanley Tucci. It tells of a futuristic world set in once North America. It highlights on a heroine who saved her sister by taking her place in a nationally televised to-the-death competition called The Hunger Games.
